Taylor Christensen, RMT

Taylor recently graduated from West Coast College of Massage in Victoria and will soon become a registered massage therapist after completing board exams in September 2023. Taylor also holds a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology and is extremely passionate about massage, physical health, and people’s general well-being. He enters the clinic with a strong will to work, a broad range of skills, and a positive, engaging demeanour.

Taylor was born and raised in Nanaimo, British Columbia, and then moved to Victoria to further his schooling. He recently relocated to Port Alberni because he believes it will be an excellent environment for his family to continue growing. Taylor likes to be physically active by going to the gym, playing soccer and hockey, and engaging in other outdoor pursuits.

Taylor’s education gave him a thorough understanding of how to lead a healthy lifestyle, manage stress, improve athletic performance, and treat injuries using a variety of treatment modalities to meet the unique needs of each patient, such as diaphragmatic breathing, myofascial release, trigger point release, deep tissue treatments, joint mobilizations, and relaxation massages. Taylor treatments also include homecare remedies designed to promote stretching and strengthening and hydrotherapy methods to assist people in reaching their full physical potential.
